Full Description
Geophysical survey during 1990 on ground to the east of Abbey House and south of the Abbey car park, Abbotsbury revealed a series of interlocking linear anomalies close to the eastern precinct wall of the abbey.
These anomalies are suggestive of a medieval monastic building constructed against the inside of the abbey precinct wall. However, it is also possible that they represent drains or garden paths.
The anomalies cover an area of approximately 43m N-S x 20m E-W
