Monument record MDO19428 - Pillbox in the A35 road bridge at Hinton Admiral, Christchurch

A small World War Two pillbox built to defend the Hinton Railbridge at Hinton Admiral in 1940-41. It is built into the railway bridge and faces southwest along the track. Construction is of brick and concrete. A field survey in 1995 found the pillbox to be in a good condition.
