Full Description
A Second World War Pillbox built to defend the Hinton Railbridge, facing south west.
Small pillbox built into bridge over railway facing towards Christchurch. Single embrasure in front face.
with DRAWING. Pillbox, designed for site, built into structure of road bridge over railway line. Faces SW along track. Brick-faced. [Recorder, Osborne, gives NGR - SZ 194496].Pillbox at railway bridge.On N side of road bridge (A35) over railway at Hinton Admiral. <1-3>
