Full Description
A decoy pond shown on Ordnance Survey map. The Ordnance Survey map of around 1900 shows a roughly rectangular feature considerably larger than it appears on the current (2011) digital maps; no pipes are depicted, but a later OS map shows one pipe at the south-west corner of the pond.
The Pond is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1946 (1), it was digitally recorded during the Dorset Stour NMP. It is still visible on more recent digital photographs (2).
