Full Description

Roman, medieval and post-medieval pottery from the garden of 36 High West Street, Dorchester, deposited in the Dorset County Museum by Mrs V. Grose, pre-2001. The pottery included sherds of Black burnished ware, samian and other 1st century AD finewares, Corfe Mullen ware, New Forest Ware, a rim sherf from a rouletted beaker, and other miscellaneous Roman sherds. Also includes some medieval and post-medieval pottery.
