A Roman coin was found by B Palmer at the Modern School gardens, Dorchester in 1953. Farrar Number 5 (1954), described as a commemorative AE of Constantius I datable to c. AD 306-7.

Obverse Description: diad. Bust right
Reverse Inscription: illegible
Reverse Description: Eagle left with wings displayed
