Full Description
A Minute Dagger-Shaped Knife from Fordington. It has lost its point, but when whole, cannot have been more than 2 in. long. It has two rivet holes.(1)
This object was found in association with bone implements and is typical of a funerary deposit.(2) It is likely to derive from a Barrow in Fordington Parish, near Dorchester although no information survives as to which one. Mapped as a point with a 4 figure grid reference (SY6990).
