Full Description
A Roman coin was found by W. F. Gould at 2 Bridport Road, Dorchester in 1953. Farrar Number 8 (1954), described as AE of Constantius II as Caesar AD 324-37.
Obverse Inscription: FL IVL CONSTANTIVS NOB C
Obverse Description: Diad. Bust cuir. r.
Reverse Inscription: GLORIA EXERCITVS
Reverse Description: 2 standards between 2 soldiers
Mint Mark: TRP
