Full Description

(Centred at SY 698970) Air photographs CPE/UK/1974/1369-70 show two dark concentric oval rings, probably representing ploughed out ditches. Nothing is visible on the ground and the work appears to be unrelated to the neighbouring field system. The marks may be the remains of a ploughed out barrow. The measurements are as follows: outer oval: 54 yds x 37 yds. Inner oval: 34 yds x 22 yds. <1>

(SY 69889707) The area is under grass; nothing indicative of an earthwork is visible at the site, nor is anything visible on air photographs CPE/UK/2475/3116-7 9.3.48. <1>
