SY69159064. Roman occupation discovered during excavations on the site of outbuildings of the Plume of Feathers at the junction of Trinity and Princes Streets in 1975. Features included an east-west road, wall foundations, a V-shaped gully containing Samian ware, floor and post-holes. <1>
