Summary

Cellar beneath Humphries Kirk, 40 High West Street, Dorchester was visited by Val Dicker and David Ashford. A brief sketch plan and photographs of salient features were taken. Cellar is subdivided and incorporates some 'reused' timbers in internal structures. A possible c. 2m length of the Roman town wall was exposed in the upper part of the SW corner of the cellar.

Cellar beneath Humphries Kirk, 40 High West Street, Dorchester was visited by Val Dicker and David Ashford. A brief sketch plan and photographs of salient features were taken.

Cellar is subdivided and incorporates some 'reused' timbers in internal structures. A possible c. 2m length of the Roman town wall was exposed in the upper part of the SW corner of the cellar.
