Full Description
The remains of a cobbled path were found in the east part of the excavations on the site of the new Dorset County Library, Colliton Park, Dorchester in 1961-63 (1) (2). This path was partly sealed by the walls of Building 1. It ran in a roughly N-S direction. It may relate to an earlier phase of activity on the site represented by the debris dumped in the early 2nd century AD pits to the west of the path.
