‘3.2 Topsoil Stripping. An area of archaeological deposits was identified after topsoil stripping along the access route within plot 18, and designated Site 10. It comprised a series of possible features, sealed by an archaeological layer, 52. Pottery recovered from this area dated from the late Iron Age to the 2nd century AD. The site details are summarised in the gazetteer. No excavation was carried out, as the site lay on an access point which was seldom used.’
