A small mound, possibly a Bronze Age bowl barrow.

Full Description

A ditchless mound, possibly not a barrow. It is situated on a narrow ridge within a pasture field, and is approximately 8.5m. in diameter by 0.5m. high. A trench dug into the top has exposed some stone and flint. <2>

Sandy Barrow; shapeless and doubtful bowl barrow, 10 paces diameter by 3 feet high. <3>

Sandy Barrow (listed as a round barrow). Slight irregular flinty mound, disturbed in centre. <4>

SY 73038258 Sandy Barrow (name not confirmed). A possible barrow 9.0m. in diameter and 1.0m. in height: there is no ditch visible. It is under pasture and situated at the angle of a narrow right-angled ridge, at its highest point. Surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <5>

The feature is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project <6>.
