Full Description

A Roman coin of Allectus was found by D. Strange in 1956 somewhere on the Poundbury Estate. Farrar number 6 (1958) described as a copper alloy coin 22mm in diam. Obverse: IMP C ALLECTUS PF AUG, rad. Bust cuir. r; Reverse: LAETITIA AUG, Laetitia dr. 1., holding wreath and rudder. In field S P (?).
