Full Description
A 2.6m length of hard-packed flint gravels about 0.35m thick was exposed at a depth of about 0.55m at the base of a water pipe trench. This was recorded during a watching brief by Terrain Archaeology in May 2002.
Several layers of sands and gravels were recognised in the make-up of this road, but its base was not exposed, so its complete structure is not recorded. It was not possible to determine the full width of this road, neither was it possible to determine its orientation.
