Summary

Post-medieval ice house built on an artificially cut terrace. The structure is brick, under an earth mound, and is thought to have been built in the middle of the 19th century.

Full Description

Post-medieval ice house built on an artificially cut terrace. It has a flint built chamber 3 metres square covered by a mound of earth, stone and turf 9 metres by 12 metres across and 1.5 metres high. There is a door to the north and a open toped passage leading to the stream. <2>
