Monument record MDO1805 - Field system, Oborne

The remains of a possible ploughed down strip lynchet. A contour lynchet and three curvilinear field banks are visible as earthworks on satellite and lidar imagery.

One contour lynchet, up to 1.0m in height extends for 210.0m across two fields on a west-facing pasture slope. It is crossed by three field banks, 4.0 to 6.0m in width, 0.6m in height and about 20.0m apart. The features are centred at ST 65431804. <2>

A contour lynchet and three curvilinear field banks are visible as earthworks on satellite and lidar imagery (EA 2022; GE 2014).
