Full Description

[SY 51169876] About 1953 I found two flint arrowheads in a rabbit scrape in the hedge bank at about the site I indicate on the 6" [map] I gave them away and I dont know where they are now. <1.1>

I judge MR BOWMENT-MORVAN as a well educated and intelligent young man whose word can probably be relied upon. The arrowheads as described by him were barbed and tanged but with weak barbs. The area is grass covered and there were no surface finds or traces of antiquity. <2>
