Summary

Early eighteenth century house, enlarged in about 1869. Brick walls, incorporating some earlier ironstone walling in lower parts, possibly remains of an earlier building. Main wing has low-pitched slate roof, the older, rear wing is thatched with brick stacks.

Farmhouse, 60 yds. North of Well House, Throop. <1>

SY 826931. Briantspuddle Farmhouse at Throop, formerly 'Throop Farm', was built in 1869 and incorporates a late 17th or early 18th century rubble and brick built wing with thatched roof. <3>
