Summary

A house thought probably to have been built in the eighteenth century, enlarged to the west in nineteenth century; datestone on this section reads '1841 JB'. The building has brick and stone walls, pantiled roof, brick stack. Two storeys and attic.

‘(14) TADNOLL MILL (792869) stands on a stream that crosses the extreme N. end of the parish. It is of brick, of three storeys, and of the late 18th century; the wheel survives. An addition to the N., of chalk rubble, has a keystone inscribed 1841 JB (for James Bascombe?).’
