Summary

A house built in the 17th century and enlarged in the 18th century. The builing has walls of brick with rubble stone in the bases, and a thatched roof with brick chimney stacks. Surviving features are reported to include 18th-century windows and, inside, open fireplaces and ceiling beams.

Full Description

Whitefield Farmhouse has walls of brick and is partly early-18th century; it was enlarged later in the 18th century and the whole subsequently heightened to two full storeys. <2>
