A cottage built in the eighteenth century, but with later alterations including bay windows added in the nineteenth century. The building has brick walls and a tiled roof with stone eaves courses and a brick chimney stack.

‘The following houses unless otherwise described are of two storeys with cob walls and thatched roofs; the barns are of similar building materials. … WEST STREET (see village plan) N side: (2) HOUSE, of brick with a tiled roof, was built in the late 18th century. Two bay windows were added on the S. in the 19th century.’
