‘The following houses unless otherwise described are of two storeys with cob walls and thatched roofs; the barns are of similar building materials. … WEST STREET (see village plan) E side: … (3) HOUSE, of two storeys and attics, with brick walls, rendered and painted, and a tiled roof, was built in the second half of the 18th century. The back wing is a later addition.’
