Summary

One of a pair of single storey terraced cottages with attics, probably of eighteenth century date. The lower part of the walls is brick, the upper parts tile-hung, with some ornamental tiling. End wall roughcast. Thatched roofs, brick end and centre stacks. Entrances at rear.

‘The following houses unless otherwise described are of two storeys with cob walls and thatched roofs; the barns are of similar building materials. … (8) Cottages, two, were built probably in the 18th century; the E. cottage has been refaced in brickwork.’
