House brick and thatched. L-shaped plan. 2s. and attic. Sashes
and casements. Brick stacks. C.18. <2>
SY 839950. Shitterton Farmhouse of two storeys and attics, was built of brick in the early 18th century. In the mid 19th century
the south wing was extended, the addition being of one storey and attics. (The building is shown as Sitterton Farm on OS 6" 1968, this is no doubt for prudish reasons as Mills suggests in EPNS Dorset 1 1977 276). <3>
