Summary

One of a pair of mid nineteenth century cottages, with brick walls, slate roofs and brick stacks, incorporating part of an early eighteenth century structure. East gable wall incorporates part of an early eighteenth brick garden wall which extends south of the cottages as a free-standing wall. This has a pair of rusticated brick gate piers with oversailing caps, flanked by a section of wall with blank segmental-arched recess.
