Full Description
United Reformed Church. Built as Independent Chapel in 1835 when the chapel in West Street was converted to a school. Rubble stone walls. Slate roof with coped gables with apex finials. Simple rectangular plan, with north porch. This has ashlar-faced north wall and coped gabled roof with apex finial. In each side wall, 2 tall round-headed windows with plain ashlar surrounds. In west wall, a triple round-arched window with Romanesque style columns as mullions. <1>
