Summary

United Reformed Church. Built as Independent Chapel in 1835 with rubble stone walls, and a slate roof with coped gables and apex finials. The north porch has and ashlar faced north wall and coped gabled roof with apex finial. Date plaque over door.

Full Description

United Reformed Church. Built as Independent Chapel in 1835 when the chapel in West Street was converted to a school. Rubble stone walls. Slate roof with coped gables with apex finials. Simple rectangular plan, with north porch. This has ashlar-faced north wall and coped gabled roof with apex finial. In each side wall, 2 tall round-headed windows with plain ashlar surrounds. In west wall, a triple round-arched window with Romanesque style columns as mullions. <1>
