Full Description
SY 40409788 to SY 40389778 A raised approach, probably connected with Md. Marshwood Castle runs from the NW towards the castle. This approach consists of a 6.0m wide and 0.5m high agger with an intermittent ditch averaging 2.0m wide and 0.4m deep on each side, and with a slight outer bank on the SW side.
The ditches, bank and agger fade in the SE, where a modern farm track cuts across at right angles. The feature is grass covered, and terminates in the NW at a modern NS hedgebank. <1>
