Summary

A house built in the early eighteenth century, extended to the east around the middle of the nineteenth century. The building has walls of timber framework and of brick, and slate-covered roofs. Surviving features of the interior are reported to include exposed stop-chamfered beams.

Full Description

The Vicarage is an early 18th-century single storey building with timber-frame and brick walls and slate-covered roofs. A mid-19th century extension was added to the east side. <2>

'(6) Vicarage (05040894), of one storey with attics, has walls of timber framework and of brick, and slate-covered roofs. The principal range is of early 18th-century origin and there is a mid 19th-century addition at the E. end. Inside, stop-chamfered beams are exposed in the ground floor rooms of the original range.'
