Summary

A late eighteenth century brick built single arch bridge over the mill stream. On the south west side the bridge includes a shallow segmental arch with shaped stone coping. The stream continued underground into the mill wheel pit on the north east side.

Full Description

A brick built single arch bridge over the mill stream, dating from teh late eighteenth century. On the south west side the bridge includes a shallow segmental arch with shaped stone coping. On the north east side the stream continued underground into the mill wheel pit, although it is not visible on the ground. The bridge is in reasonable condition, but is likely to have been strengthened and the parapets rebuilt. The bridge is listed at Grade II, as part of the Mill House. This bridge is not considered to be of national importance and is not recommended for scheduling. <1>
