Summary

A detached cottage thought to have been built in the 18th century, and originally a small farmhouse. A farm building to the west of the house is now used as a garage. The cottage has walls of cob covered in plaster and a thatched roof with brick chimney stacks. In 1975 it was reported that the house was little altered, with surviving original features including a large open fireplace with a bread oven, and wooden ceiling beams.
