Full Description
Timber framed building, refaced in the 18th century with painted brick. 2 storeys. 3 narrow sash windows on 1st floor with moulded flush frames and late 19th century glazing. Modillion eaves cornice and tiled roof. In the centre of the ground floor is a wide carriage archway, ground floor advanced at each side. Entrance door to west of this and actually part of No 76 High Street structurally. This doorway has pilasters, pediment and semi-circular fanlight. The inn has eastern and western rear ranges each side of courtyard. Stone flags form paving along street facade.
