Full Description

An elaborately picturesque Decorated style cemetery chapel situated at the centre of Wimborne Road Cemetery. The chapel was designed by Christopher Crabbe Creeke in 1877 and is built of Purbeck stone with Bath stone bands and dressings. A buttressed tower which supports an octagonal spire is situated in the angle of the south transept. The western part of the building contains the Nonconformist chapel, the eastern part the Anglican chapel. <1-2>
