Full Description

Picturesque cottage on pathway in pinewood, circa 1850, ground floor and semi-attic red brick and some grey headers. L plan, diagonal to pathway, with lean-to timber verandah-porch set across angle. Mullioned casements, diamond lattice glazing, 3 lights with transom on ground floor, 2 lights on 1st. Steeply pitched roofs with ornamental scalloped tiles in bands alternating with ordinary tiles, carried down low at rear; overhanging eaves, plain bargeboards. Gable ends have canted bays with hipped roofs to ground floor. Diagonally set pair of chimneystacks on ridge. Projecting single-storey storehouse wing to north-west.
