Picturesque cottage, possibly built after 1870 in Talbot model village. Brick built, ground floor and semi-attic with roof with ornamental scalloped tiles in bands alternating with ordinary tiles.

Full Description

Picturesque cottage, after 1870 (inscribed M T for Marianne Talbot), ground floor and semi-attic, red brick. Asymmetrical T plan, with gable end to road, steeply pitched. Porch alongside, also gabled. Mullioned casements, diamond lattice glazing. Gable ends have canted bays with hipped roofs to ground floor, 2-light windows on 1st floor. Roofs have ornamental scalloped tiles in bands alternating with ordinary tiles, overhanging tiles, plain bargeboards. 2 projecting single-storey wings at rear, 1 monopitch, the other with 2 pitched roofs in echelon.
