Summary

The Royal National Sanatorium for Consumption and Diseases of the Chest, built in 1855 to designs by E B Lamb. There were a nu mber of later nineteenth century extensions and additions. The original building is of two-storeys and built of Purbeck limestone.

Full Description

The Royal National Sanatorium for Consumption and Diseases of the Chest, built in 1855 to designs by E B Lamb. A chapel was added in 1865 by E G Street. The original building is of two-storeys and built of white limestone.
