Summary

Bronze Age bowl barrow, one of a small group on Beaminster Down. In 1952 this monument was reported as being around 21 feet in diameter with a mound about 9 inches high.

Full Description

'B' and 'C'. Two small barrows 90 yards SE of 'A', which have been ploughed in the past. They are approximately 21 feet and 24 feet in diameter respectively, and 9 inches and 1 foot high. (2)

'B' (ST 49790382) Probable ditchless bowl barrow; a rather shapeless mound with an approximate diameter of 8.0m. and a height of 0.4m. accentuated by a cultivation ridge.
