Summary

Chest tomb commemorating William Oakley (died 1710) and Jane Oakley (died 1718) in the churchyard of St Andrew's Church, Kinson. It was moved to its present position in the late nineteenth or early twentieth century.

Full Description

Chest tomb. Early C18. Limestone. Flat top to moulded edge, moulded ends with frieze and base, main panels with fielded panels, base sunk at time of record (Nov.1983). Commemorates Jane and William Oakley, 1718 and 1724. Information provided by Kinson Historical Society, June 1983.
