Full Description
Letter box. From 1872. Designed by Penfold. Manufactured by Cochrane and Co of Dudley, Worcestershire. Red painted cast iron. Hexagonal on plan. Queen Victoria's monogram below collection-time plate and Royal coat of arms above posting slit; ogee cap with acorn finial. The box is of the smaller Penfold type.
