Full Description

Circa 1780, for John Dean. Medium-sized mansion of stucco, 3 storeys, main block 3 windows wide and 3 window deep. Cornice above lst floor, cornice and parapet to roof. Outer window bays of south front project, with windows on ground and 1st floors recessed in round-headed aroading. Glazing bars to sashes intact. Wide portico of 4 Roman Doric column with triglyph frieze, doorway within it with pilaster and window on each side, and rectangular fanlight. Central window bay of east front flanked by projecting chimneybreasts acting as pilasters, with round-headed aroading over 1st floor windows. Lower service wing to west.
