Full Description

Outlying picturesque farmhouse on Talbot Village estate (for which, see Wallisdown Road), circa 1850, ground floor and semi-attic, red brick. Asymmetrical L-plan, with gable end to road. Mullioned windows, 3-light with transom on ground floor, otherwise mostly 2-light, diamond lattice glazing (some survives). Steeply pitched roofs, with ornamental scalloped tiled in bands alternating with ordinary tiles, overhanging eaves, plain bargeboards. Stucco chimneystacks. Glazed porch in angle. 2 single-storey gabled wings project to east.
