Summary

A house which appears to have been built in the early part of the nineteenth century, but which may consist of a frontage of this date on an earlier building. Until the late 1960s the house was occupied by the King family, owners of the adjoining smithy. A striking feature of the house is wrought iron work, including a trellis, made by Mr King around 1840.
