Summary

A Bronze Age bowl barrow. In 1952 this monument was reported as being around 48 feet in diameter with a mound about four feet high. The eastern side of the mound has been disturbed, possibly in the course of antiquarian investigation.

Full Description

A bowl barrow; diameter 19 paces, height 4 1/2 ft. This barrow has been damaged. <2>

A bowl barrow, with no visible ditch, at present under crops. It has a diameter of 19.0m and is 0.8m high. Large flints are exposed on the flattened top. <4>

'(12) BARROWS, two, towards the W. side of the parish and 1,200 and 1,550 yards N.W. of the church respectively. The more southerly (a), bowl barrow, is 48 ft. in diam. and 4 ft. high; it has been disturbed on the E. side. (b), 370 yards N.W. of (a), has been almost ploughed out.'
