Summary

Premises formerly occupied by the South-Western Dairies Ltd and now converted to residential use. Built in 1796 as the Dorsetshire Brewery Co (Sherborne) Ltd. The oldest buildings are of stone and next to the road, with later brick additions behind. The Dorsetshire Brewery Company, with 78 licensed houses and three off-licences, was acquired by Brutton, Mitchell and Toms in 1951 and brewing ceased.
