Monument record MDO1505 - Long Barrow Hill: Bronze Age bowl barrow

A Bronze Age bowl barrow on Long Barrow Hill. In 1952 this monument was reported as being around 35 feet in diameter with a mound about 3 feet high.

A Bronze Age bowl barrow on Long Barrow Hill. The site is one of a group of monuments in the vicinity of the Long Bredy bank barrow (MDO1509) and is clearly visible on aerial photographs. {1-3}

(d), 100 yards E. of the N. end of the bank barrow, is 35 ft. in diam. and 3 ft. high. (e), 70 yards N.E. of the end of the bank barrow, is 30 ft. in diam. and 4 ft. high.’
