Summary

A Lime kiln recorded as ‘old limekiln’ on the 1888, 1901 and 1928 Ordnance Survey maps but shown as a ‘building’ on the 2006 O/S map. It has a remarkable low centered brick arch with a keystone. It was visited by Peter Stanier in 1992-3 and found to be in fair condition with some 60-79% still surviving.
