Summary

A farmhouse built around the middle of the seventeenth century. The building has walls of rubble stone and a thatched roof with brick chimney stacks, and is set at right-angles to the road.

‘The following monuments, unless otherwise described, are of the 17th century and of two storeys; the walls are of rubble and the roofs are thatched or covered with modern materials. Some of the buildings have exposed ceiling-beams and original fireplaces. … (16) Petty's Farm, house immediately E. of (15), has two original three-light windows with labels.’
