Summary

A farmhouse built in the early seventeenth century, with a twentieth-century extension at the rear. The building has walls of rubble stone and a slate roof with brick chimney stacks. The later extension has a tiled roof.

‘The following monuments, unless otherwise described, are of the 17th century and of two storeys; the walls are of rubble and the roofs are thatched or covered with modern materials. Some of the buildings have exposed ceiling-beams and original fireplaces. … (27) Cottage, on the E. side of the road 410 yards E.N.E. of the church, retains some original stonemullioned windows with labels.’
