Full Description

Area A centred at [SY50399326] Area B centred at [SY50809357] Area A is correctly described in TI. The lynchets
are pronounced, grass covered and parallel. Area B. A few contour following and fairly pronounced strip
lynchets partly under grass and partly hedge and scrub covered. See AP CPE/UK/2431/3159-3160. <2>

'(19) LYNCHETS on the W. slope of the hill, on the E. side of New Road and about 1m. S.E. of the church, form three terraces, the lowest 60 and the others 36 ft. wide. They extend for about 180 yards'.
