Monument record MDO1459 - Burial at Manor Farm Cottages, Litton Cheney

Please read our .

Summary

Human skeletal remains were found during building works behind Manor Farm Cottages in June 1994. Trenching disturbed the upper part of an adult skeleton in a crouched position in a small pit; the robustness of the skeleton suggested that it might be male. No dating evidence was found but the style of the burial suggests a prehistoric date.
